As you may have noticed, construction on the A14 is in full swing. Highways England has stated that there will be a westbound closure scheduled between junctions 38 and 37 this weekend, so plan accordingly! On November 23 and 24, 2019, from 9 pm to 5 am, the A14 will be closed for road marking, resurfacing and stud improvements. Please see diversion details below:

To avoid A14 road work this weekend:

• Continue heading westbound and travel via A11 junction 43, A134 toward Thetford, A11 toward Newmarket. A1304 and A1402 before picking back up A11 westbound at junction 37.

Ready for the good news? Highways England’s £1.5 billion scheme is set to be completed by December 9, 2019, so the new 12-mile bypass will open ahead of schedule!
